Meet Our Physician
Robert D. Boyd, D.O. is the president and owner of Woodbridge Medical Group, P.A. Born into a family of physicians, helping people in need was ingrained in him since he was a child. Dr. Boyd’s father was a doctor, and his mother was a nurse. Like 4 of his siblings, he followed in their footsteps by becoming a medical physician.
To become the physician he is today, Dr. Boyd graduated from medical school in 1974. He then finished his internship in 1975 and went into practice. Dr. Boyd became board-certified in 1982. Since then, he has diagnosed and treated patients using his medical training. He also encourages them to stay physically fit by exercising regularly. A runner himself, Dr. Boyd has completed 104 marathons to date, including the Boston Marathon 15 times and the New York Marathon 27 times. Dr. Boyd encourages patients to maintain a meaningful exercise program for as long as they are able to do.
